Industry Localization and Knowledge Transfer Opportunity for X Ray Baggage Inspection System
As par of LCPGA's mandate to develop the local content, localization of promising industries, and improving local capabilities and supply chains at the national economy level, the Authority is pleased to announce the opportunity to localize X Ray Baggage Inspection System by committing to inclusion in the mandatory list in exchange for localization.
X Ray Baggage Inspection System:
An X Ray Baggage Inspection System is a security inspection device designed to detect prohibited items, weapons, explosives, or contraband concealed inside bags, parcels, or luggage by using X-ray imaging technology.
This device provides high-resolution images of scanned items, allowing security personnel to analyze contents without opening them. It is commonly used in airports, train stations, government facilities, and other high-security areas to ensure safety and prevent illegal activities. Features often include dual-energy imaging, automatic threat detection, and user-friendly interfaces for efficient operation.
Project Objectives:
- Maintain the supply chain for the targeted products within the Kingdom.
- Establishing new industries and sectors in the Kingdom.
- Develop local content in the industrial sector.
